It’s official, time to saddle up for the last two Saturday Arvo T & E shows at the Sando, Saturdays December 1 & 8 from 4pm. It has been an incredibly successful seven years (yes, 7!) at the Sando for Dave and Mark and they would like to thank Tony and Kim Townsend and their wonderful Sando Staff (past and present) for their continued support and hospitality.

 It’s more than sad that the Sando’s run has come to an end, particularly in the fashion that it has but it appears the site will re-emerge as a live music venue after renovations, stay tuned....

  It now appears that The Sando may well have been saved as a live music venue, possibly not under the same guise and unfortunately without its guiding light Tony Townsend, which is an injustice in itself…..

A fitting entree for this Sunday at the Bald Faced Stag on Parramatta Rd., Leichhardt for Lucy De Soto and the Handsome Devils celebrating the life, times and music of Rose Tattoo and Buffalo founder Pete Wells (pictured) Dave and Mark will be there, kicking up some dust for Pete.

Community Cup Comes to Sydney !

Sunday March 18 sees the inaugural Sydney Community Cup at Henson Park, Marrickville. It's a AFL battle between the Sydney Sailors and Western Walers (watch for a speedy number 10, that's me) with food, drinks, scarves, hot dogs, all the footy stuff along with performances by Front End Loader and Celibate Rifles...and more!

    All to aid Reclink Australia, a fantastic outfit doing a load of wonderful work across Australia, so get along and cheer the Walers and raise some funds for Reclink.

Dave Tice & Mark Evans NSW North Coast !

Hello there NSW North Coasters !  Dave Tice and Mark Evans will be doing their acoustic root//blues business up your way this Thursday/Friday. Thursday Jan 19 is The Beach Hotel in Byron Bay and Friday is the Lennox Hotel in Lennox Head, then the guys are scooting ( thank you Virgin Airlines) back to Sydney for the good ol’ Sandringham Hotel on Saturday from 4pm. They will have their new cd “Brothers in Arms” on board plus copies of Mark's memoir “Dirty Deeds” for sale. Dave and Mark will be the guys in loud shirts and umbrellas in our drinks.

   Saturday is coming and that means Dave Tice & Mark Evans at The Sandringham Hotel on King St., Newtown.

     The guys have almost recovered from NYE at The Sando but may need a heartstarter for the kick off at 4pm.
